Had such a great time meeting up with Faith and her folks down on Hermitage Square for her high school senior portrait session! Downtown Phoenix is an adventure of colours, and great photo textures- and sometimes adventures in finding parking spaces!! But Faith’s smiles lit the city up brighter than the sunshine :)

I have had the pleasure of knowing her a few years now as she has lead my daughters band, and can I just say this kid is so dang cool! Lauren is a leader, a musician, and a haircut trendsetter- but she’s also the kindest, coolest, and funniest person! Loved out session down on roosevelt Row in Phoenix- we visited all the murals and lite them up with Lauren’s smile and some smoke bombs! Can’t wait to read all about her future adventures!!!
Mikaela Class of 2019 | Downtown Phoenix | Anjeanette Photography Seniors
The splashes of colour and city vibe have def been the most popular spots this high school senior portrait session season! We are so blessed to live in a vibrant fun city with so many neat spots- and Mikaela rocked them all! From Roosevelt Row to Grand ave this Arizona girl stunned in her graduation photo session!
We had some help from Mikaleas brother Aaron- he manned the Ice Light on a fushia setting to create the zig zag halo behind her head for this photo!

Phoenix had a surprisingly windy and cold- snowy even- and so Hannah’s senior session was a whirlwind of colourguard flags in the wind and golden curls. After warming in up in charming BeCoffee the sun popped out to end the afternoon session in warmth and reflections in Phoenix!
Preston class of 2019 | Senior Mini Session | Anjeanette Photography Seniors
Had a great time meeting Preston and his mom at the anthem Community Park a little while for a short and sweet senior session! This one is a keep it simple, nothing fancy- and Preston was the perfect guy for it because he was ready with a quick smile and laugh to get everything his family wanted with lots of time to submit for the Anthem Preparatory Academy. I do love a school that lets seniors choose their own portraits!
The Senior mini session is great for kids that have an easy, relaxed smile right away, and are very comfortable in front of the camera. They don’t want to fuss with a bunch of wardrobe changes so we keep it fun and light- easy going and as painless as possible :)
The students interested in a mini are great kids who know what they want- andare not interested in a movie or have such busy schedules- but they know portraits matter to mom!
It was so great working with you Preston- congrats on a great High School experience and all the wonderful adventures that wait!!

Such a fantastic session with Tyler at Tempe Town Lake last week!
It was great getting to know this talented and young gentleman. Tyler is interested in music, the arts, and song/music rights and publishing for video games, movies ,and more.
It will be exciting to see where the future takes Tyler- or rather what he accomplishes with his bright future!

Had a fantastic time exploring downtown with Charis and her mom❤ She is such a smart, happy, and bubbly person- fantastic images and conversation!!! Pretty sure she can slay anything she wants to- go get it girl!
I told her mom, however, that there was a problem. Far too many of these photos are amazing and just picking a few favorites has been one of the hardest decisions I have had all week! Can’t wait to see all this kid is going to accomplish in the future!!
We played with faerie lights inspired by @brandonwoelfel awesome style after the sun went down on @karis.kalei fab senior session downtown! Been wanting to try this for a while-💯bokeh captured in camera- edited but no overlays. Heck, I love overlays and such, we just didn't need to use em this time once we found some neon in Phoenix

I KNOW its Christmas time- but a bunch of my spring dates filled up for the Class of 2019 this past week- here is what left! Thinking ahead this year so I do not have to turn anyone away again and so that prints or galleries arrive BEFORE graduation. Its gonna speed up on you fast folks- if you choose a date we will schedule you and cross it off just for you :)

Where can you take senior pictures in the greater Phoenix area and beyond? This post is just lists of ideas for places and props for YOUR senior experience portraits with Anjeanette Photography! The best places are ones close to your heart, or even near your school campus- however, you can use these ideas to start brainstorming the perfect lo-cal.
Many are free or have a small park or org fees, there is a very small travel fee only if I travel over 30 mins, everything under that is included.
This is in no way an exhaustive list- so what have you always dreamed of for YOUR epic and stylish session???
Where can we NOT go?
No railroad tracks, no tresspassing, no middle of the road, no canals, no bars- yep been asked. Just not cool for a senior experience k? :)

I fall in love with every project I am a part of- I am become emotional and professionally invested in capturing the memories of every client! Most family and senior sessions have full session galleries up and ready to view in less than 3 weeks. I always offer a 24 hour social media sneak peek to share with anyone you wish!
To look through portfolios and really consider what you want your family or senior images to look like- a photographers website or printed materials should show you what level of work to expect from them!
What you see is what you get so find the style that perfectly matches what you want!
Budget so that you do not have to hire one whose photos you do not LOVE. Why? Few couples hang the graduation cake or cap and gown above the mantle, fewer still hand those items down to children and grandchildren.
Photos memorizing your priceless moments are what you get to share and remember by as the years go by- they are treasures!

A little ditty bought Jack & Maddie....I love it when furry sibilings come to sessions! Had the best time with Maddie, her folks, and Jack a few weeks ago for her Thunderbird Mountain + Elevate Coffee senior session! I know Maddie's family from our band family at Sandra Day O'Conner. For every hour Mad's spent drill and practicing her folks spent on the pit crew or water crew getting the students ready or hydrating them through the Arizona summer marching season. I am so thankful for the selfless volunteering they did- and that they chose me to capture Maddie's irresistible smile! This girl is so bubbly and happy- thank you for sharing that energy and joy with me!
