Ethan’s session was really fun, exploring the neat industrial area around ASU Grant Street Studios and doing his thing! It was pretty toasty so we kept out of the Arizona sun and in the shade with all of the old buildings, cool bricks and alleys, and mural work on buildings. I met Ethan a few years ago while taking photos for his marching band- and I even took his brother’s senior photos that year! It’s great to meet up again at a shoot just for him after meeting a few times at different shoots. Great job Ethan!

Nobody wants cheesy awkward photos for graduation- be like Ethan and be yourself. I actually kind of hate it when photographers or others say super vague statements like ‘just be yourself’ - so here what I mean: Wear what YOU want to wear. Yes, wear a photos mom wants or dad expects, but def bring a few YOU like, and feel comfortable in. Don’t force a smile, I will make you laugh either because of my top notch comic delivery (snort) or you know I may just say ‘laugh at me’ ha! A laugh relaxes you face, make the noise, nobody is watching but me and I am hidden behind the camera. No judgement zone for sure!! And when you laugh it lights up the whole face in a natural not stiff way. Bring music! We can listen to whatever you want, bring things you like do, Music, D&D, video games, sports equipment. Realize that much like a workout the first few minutes are a warm up, getting used to being in front of the camera. I want you to look cool as hell so I am not here trying to make a perfect (ly fake) picture!
