Congratulations Anthony on building your Dreams with your College of Construction engineering degree!
Old Main and the iconic Normal School steps have an incredible mix of history and charm that makes it one of the best places to take senior photos on campus. It’s especially stunning in the fall when the light catches the brick and makes the whole area feel warm and inviting. These steps are a hot spot for ASU grads, especially in spring. By April or May, it’s packed with seniors waiting their turn for photos, so planning a fall OR end of February, March, or spring break session means avoiding those long waits. Trust me, it’s worth it.
For those of you planning your own ASU senior pictures, here are a couple of tips based on Baylee’s session. If you’re thinking of ASU’s Tempe campus, plan ahead! Fall is a great time because the crowds are smaller and the weather is much more forgiving. By the time spring rolls around, Old Main and Palm Walk get pretty packed with grads waiting for their turn at these iconic spots. If you want those classic shots without the stress, fall is the way to go.
Technically these are not sneak peeks -bc Anthony has already had his gallery a few weeks! We met up at #OldMain for a mini session the very day after he graduated from #ASU and because of the full line up I already had on IG I didn’t want him waiting too long for them while he was celebrating the week after walking. It was great meeting Anthony and his folks and seeing his favorite spots on campus

Jonathan Liberty High School Class of 21 | Phoenix Senior Pictures by Anjeanette Photography
Triple threat rocker Jonathan is a drummer, bassist, and guitarist (and prolly 5-6 other ‘ists’ I don’t even know about) This dude is TALENTED and HARDWORKING! The night of his senior session we ended up pushing the time up a little bit as he had a gig on stage in Tempe Az performing live at the Marketplace Friday night stage with one of his many bands- Corridor Sixteen!
After his session, I obviously had to go check out the performance- great music, great energy, great vibe. The duo of Jonathan and lead vocalist and guitarist Jude David was incredible. From covers to originals they had a passion that just got your heart pumping. Exciting to see live and excited for later on when I get to brag- hey! I took this guys photo when he was just graduating from high school!

““How did I get here?”
I’ve been asking myself that question a lot recently, especially having just graduated high school and joining many new projects. It’s becoming clearer and clearer every day that music isn’t just my passion or hobby, it’s my purpose in life. The night these photos were taken, it really hit me: big things are coming, much bigger than I could possibly imagine, so I better be ready. Gods already taken me on an adventurous path in life, and I can see that he’s only got more, this is just the beginning of a new path.”

He will also go on tour with @corridorsixteen
as part of the @boysofsummertour
Jonathan will attend Arizona State University

You already have a lot of experience taking ALL THE PHOTOS together already right? Why not bring that comfortable, fun, giggly vibe to your senior portraits! These two will be continuing their adventures together in college when they attend GCU together, however for most folks Senior year is the brink of your whole world changing. Some of your best friends in high school will stick with you forever, and like Ayla and Kaitlyn, those are memories worth preserving in portraits.

It’s Wonder Twins super duo Julia & Jayce! These SDOHS Eagles are active members of the Eagle Pride Band and Colourguard just really cool kids- loved getting to know them over the last four years. 🧡

Perri’s mom found the most amazing venue...I will be recommending @serenitygardensscottsdale to every senior looking for a beautiful green location with water. I get asked for a place that “doesn’t look like Arizona” by at least one client a week 😆
I mean-I LOVE the Az desert vibe! It is 💯 why I am here. But who doesn’t want to visit an exotic magical wonderland? Perri’s dad said to her mom-“Anjeanette is in photographer heaven” about 15 mins into our visit- and it is so true! I felt like we had wandered off the desert mountains into a lush jungle protecting the ruins of a mythical palace. Yeah I know pretty flowery talk, but I REALLY did!

Perri has an amazing life, her musical talent and very hard work take her all across the country for performances, so it is no surprise that this was not her first senior portrait session - she wanted one in AZ and one session with amazing human and photographer 💗🦉 @pinkowlphotography in Raliegh North Carolina! Persistent and smiling through the most difficult and strangest of years, these young woman made goals, stuck them out, and took care of each other along the way!
Time to celebrate!!!
Old Main and the iconic Normal School steps have an incredible mix of history and charm that makes it one of the best places to take senior photos on campus. It’s especially stunning in the fall when the light catches the brick and makes the whole area feel warm and inviting. These steps are a hot spot for ASU grads, especially in spring. By April or May, it’s packed with seniors waiting their turn for photos, so planning a fall OR end of February, March, or spring break session means avoiding those long waits. Trust me, it’s worth it.
For those of you planning your own ASU senior pictures, here are a couple of tips based on Baylee’s session. If you’re thinking of ASU’s Tempe campus, plan ahead! Fall is a great time because the crowds are smaller and the weather is much more forgiving. By the time spring rolls around, Old Main and Palm Walk get pretty packed with grads waiting for their turn at these iconic spots. If you want those classic shots without the stress, fall or spring break is the way to go.

I met this cool chick about four years ago right when I moved to Arizona my daughter joined her school and the Eagle Pride Band- Ana is vivacious and energetic- and always hilarious! A powerhouse of the brass section, Ana has marched in Drum Corps International with Phenom, The Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, and her soon-to-be high school alma mater Sandra Day O’Connor- one of the TOP marching bands in the state! Ana really rocked her session with awesome smiles and a too cool vibe- first stop thrifted fashion and The Grand coffee house on Central Ave!
Ana’s second location was the gorgeous Japanese Friendship Garden, a jewel in downtown Phoenix!
We ducked in and out of clouds and enjoyed being surround with the serenity of water and trees.
Ana is gorgeous along side the new cherry blossoms and pagodas- don’t worry - she knows :)

This Phoenix beauty wanted natural wild areas, and the Sonoran desert was the perfect backdrop! Not enough rain for wildflowers this year- so we brought our own flowers and sprinkled them around the golden grass. Great job Julianna!!!
