2021 Mountain Ridge Saxophone Quartet | Midwest Clinic Chicago, Illinois
I was honored to photograph portraits for and design the program for the Saxophone Quartet of Mountain Ridge High School Bands proceeding their concert at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago December 2021.

Sometimes guys are hesitant to take senior photos, not sure what they will do or ow to stand or feel awkward- but they can be the best sessions! I always tell them don’t worry I’ll tell you how to pose- and after a few minutes we get comfortable and they start killing it. It’s not weird or dumb to get portraits guys. Its just a fun as you make it- you will look awesome, and whats the harm in expressing yourself and feeling great about yourself?
Now I would never know if this guy had any hesitations about portraits because Jacob was killing it with great looks all around downtown like a model! He took to it very naturally and looks amazing because of that willingness to get into it. Rocked it, crushed it, killed it, swag, sheeesh anyway you say it Jacob did it! What an awesome session! This guy hits different and def has senior guy style!

This Class of 2022 Senior is too cute! Zoe did an amazing amazing job modeling at her session! How cool is this kid? Great location, great iconic shirt, great senior! We went all over Grand Ave and Roo’s Row finding neat spaces, installations, and street art like this amazing painting by always astounding @nyla.lee and the Prince mural by @maggiekeanezart in Phoenix. Zoe specifically wanted the coolest record store @grandaverecords and this awesome mural of the Purple one! Great session!

Abe Class of 2022 | Anjeanette Photography Senior portraits Phoenix Az
Gorgeous girl and gorgeous smile- but what you can’t see is the strength and determination in every photo. This spunky fun senior has been thru multiple foot surgeries, and was on crutches for this entire session although her Doctor gave the all-clear for travel and portraits! Don’t worry, mom and I made sure she took frequent breaks and didn’t push this passionate kid. Safety first always, no photo is worth risking her health.
Resolved not to be slowed down, she flew to Arizona from Montana to get photos like ones she fondly remembered from being a kid and playing in the backyard of her grandparents to sunsets with Sonoran Cacti silhouettes. So of course the best place for cacti and dreamy desert views in Phoenix is the Botanical Gardens. No sunsets of this rare overcast afternoon, but Abe’s smile beams away the clouds, and cloudy days are lovely for soft shadows and vibrant color.
This northern plains basketball and volleyball star has beaten the odds before- and will again! On the road to healing and enjoying her senior year!

It was warm as heck but my goodness the light loves this girl! Le was amazing glowing in 111 degrees, and effervescent in the glow of the June Arizona sunset! Le just graduated from Mesa High School with honors, and now is headed for adventures in Northern California where she is headed to college. Jonathan Liberty High School Class of 21 | Phoenix Senior Pictures by Anjeanette Photography
Triple threat rocker Jonathan is a drummer, bassist, and guitarist (and prolly 5-6 other ‘ists’ I don’t even know about) This dude is TALENTED and HARDWORKING! The night of his senior session we ended up pushing the time up a little bit as he had a gig on stage in Tempe Az performing live at the Marketplace Friday night stage with one of his many bands- Corridor Sixteen!
After his session, I obviously had to go check out the performance- great music, great energy, great vibe. The duo of Jonathan and lead vocalist and guitarist Jude David was incredible. From covers to originals they had a passion that just got your heart pumping. Exciting to see live and excited for later on when I get to brag- hey! I took this guys photo when he was just graduating from high school!

““How did I get here?”
I’ve been asking myself that question a lot recently, especially having just graduated high school and joining many new projects. It’s becoming clearer and clearer every day that music isn’t just my passion or hobby, it’s my purpose in life. The night these photos were taken, it really hit me: big things are coming, much bigger than I could possibly imagine, so I better be ready. Gods already taken me on an adventurous path in life, and I can see that he’s only got more, this is just the beginning of a new path.”

He will also go on tour with @corridorsixteen
as part of the @boysofsummertour
Jonathan will attend Arizona State University
in the Fall to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Popular Music
