Faith’s senior portrait session at Thunderbird Park in Glendale, AZ, was truly an unforgettable experience! Faith, an amazing young woman with a passion for childhood education, is already making waves by working in a daycare. You can see how much she loves it in her eyes!
She chose two outfits that were just perfect for the setting. First, she rocked a boho red shirt with jeans. The vibrant red contrasted beautifully with the natural surroundings of Thunderbird Park. Then, she slipped into a flowy black dress with cowboy boots that is so on trend with the Class of 2024. Both looks were spot-on, highlighting her unique style.
Thunderbird Park is a treasure trove of natural beauty, making it the ideal location for senior photos. The scenery is simply stunning, and we were blessed with perfect weather. We started shooting in the late afternoon, capturing the soft, flattering light. Faith was a total natural in front of the camera, exuding confidence and joy in every frame. Her blonde hair gleaming in the sunlight was simply gorgeous.
We explored the park, discovering fantastic spots along the way. One area, bursting with wildflowers, perfectly matched her boho outfit. Faith twirled and laughed, creating candid shots that truly captured her free spirit. The whole vibe was relaxed and fun, and she was absolutely glowing with happiness.
Golden hour was the pinnacle of the session. The sun’s warm, golden light bathed everything in a magical glow. Faith looked breathtaking in her black dress, her hair illuminated by the setting sun. The combination of the soft dress and the rugged park scenery was stunning. That glow? Pure magic!
Faith’s dedication to childhood education is truly inspiring. She shared stories about her daycare experiences and her future aspirations. Her nurturing spirit shines through, and it’s clear she’s on the right path. Capturing this milestone for her was a true privilege, and the photos reflect her beauty, kindness, and commitment to making a difference.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wrapped up the session with a few last shots. The sky was a canvas of oranges and pinks, creating a dreamy backdrop. Faith’s silhouette against this vibrant sky was mesmerizing and the perfect close to a fantastic session.

Gorgeous girl and gorgeous smile- but what you can’t see is the strength and determination in every photo. This spunky fun senior has been thru multiple foot surgeries, and was on crutches for this entire session although her Doctor gave the all-clear for travel and portraits! Don’t worry, mom and I made sure she took frequent breaks and didn’t push this passionate kid. Safety first always, no photo is worth risking her health.
Resolved not to be slowed down, she flew to Arizona from Montana to get photos like ones she fondly remembered from being a kid and playing in the backyard of her grandparents to sunsets with Sonoran Cacti silhouettes. So of course the best place for cacti and dreamy desert views in Phoenix is the Botanical Gardens. No sunsets of this rare overcast afternoon, but Abe’s smile beams away the clouds, and cloudy days are lovely for soft shadows and vibrant color.
This northern plains basketball and volleyball star has beaten the odds before- and will again! On the road to healing and enjoying her senior year!

LOVE IT when a senior chooses a unique place for photos!! This was a hoot, I had a ton of poses, plans, and ideas for this portion of the session ready...then the moment after we launched off the deck I started giggling realizing I didn't exactly factor in any piloting the boat aspects. It's been many years since I was any kind of sailor so thankfully it was a pretty manageable paddle boat hahaha.
What a stunner!! String lights are cool, and that pink-hued sunset sure is nice, but Caeli is what REALLY lit up the Tempe Town Bridge last week!!

During #seniorpicture #MarchMadness (the busiest senior season in Arizona) it’s hard to stay up to date with many shoots and edits and videos I am working on (sometimes at the same time?!?!) …but it is REALLY hard to wait when you have a senior as awesome and cool as Ash 🧡 Just wait until you see her sweet freckles glow in the next set *swoon*

Are you old enough to remember the old Reese’s peanut butter cup commercials? “Two great tastes that taste great together” - well that sums up BFF sessions perfectly! The Best Friend Package is perfect for friends who want photos of themselves and their besties, share a video memory with a reel & a tik tok, and it evens up being half the price of a full Action Package session for each of them! It’s everything that a Action 2 hour package has to offer- shared with the person that was there as they grew up navigating the …interesting and sometimes challenging waters of high school!

at locations almost as amazing and gorgeous as she is. Glow up your Saturday afternoon with this kids smile! I was going to include lyrics for a song with "Colors" in the title to match Sami's vibrancy and the retro cool & spalshy backdrop of the @saguarohotels #scottsdale but all I can think of is True Colors by Cyndi Lauper or Colors by Ice-T- and while those songs are kick-ass neither really seems to fit- what's YOUR favorite color song?

Brandy lit up downtown with her soft sweet smile! We visited Roosevelt Row, and explored Central Phoenix hunting for the city’s fabulous street art for senior pictures full of colour and life just like this girl <3 I met Brandy via her high school band where this multitalented musician plays F Horn and Mellophone in marching- she is amazing!

Fabulous epic senior session photoshoot with Carissa!! What a way to cap off a sorta, ho-hum pandemic era senior year. We packed a LOT in the afternoon from laundry mats, to bookstores, to ferris wheels and the always awesome Mill Ave in Tempe.
Carissa lights up on camera and made every shot effortless, great modeling! Such a fun-filled day, and incredible memories for this musician, thinker, and artistic young lady. She reminded me of Belle from Beauty and The Beast in Bookmans bookstore. Congrats on your upcoming graduation Carissa!!

I knew Jared was a world-class percussionist, incredible marcher in band and battery performance, good looking, and my favorite- a super funny and lighthearted guy. What I totally didn’t expect was how cool and easy he made getting photos taken look. He switched gears from smiles to edgy expressions- he posed like a freaking model! Awesome work Jared!
