Gorgeous girl and gorgeous smile- but what you can’t see is the strength and determination in every photo. This spunky fun senior has been thru multiple foot surgeries, and was on crutches for this entire session although her Doctor gave the all-clear for travel and portraits! Don’t worry, mom and I made sure she took frequent breaks and didn’t push this passionate kid. Safety first always, no photo is worth risking her health.

Resolved not to be slowed down, she flew to Arizona from Montana to get photos like ones she fondly remembered from being a kid and playing in the backyard of her grandparents to sunsets with Sonoran Cacti silhouettes. So of course the best place for cacti and dreamy desert views in Phoenix is the Botanical Gardens. No sunsets of this rare overcast afternoon, but Abe’s smile beams away the clouds, and cloudy days are lovely for soft shadows and vibrant color.

This northern plains basketball and volleyball star has beaten the odds before- and will again! On the road to healing and enjoying her senior year!

Senior Isabella has been voted “most likely to always have the most awesome Instagram page” by me- her cosplay and theatre photo feed is beyond amazing! So needless to say I was VERY excited to meet up with B for her official senior portrait session around downtown Phoenix! We started at her home theatre, while her theatre friends rehearsed in the background, capturing Bella in her natural element. Then off to the convention center area which holds many good memories for this Shadow Mountain drama buff from theatre classes and retreats to intense cons where she created and posed in an impressive amount of intricate and gorgeous cosplay costumes with friends. Congratulations Shadow Mountain spirit team on your Senior Night celebration! Despite all that this year has brought, and how different senior year looks than they may have imagined- the Senior Matador Pom & Cheer squad brought winning smiles and encouragement to boost everyone at schools spirits with virtual pep rally assemblies, face mask fundraisers, golf tournaments, anti-bullying events, and special team traditions like their annual ‘sashing’ night to welcome new members. Next up for Coach Kari’s ladies and gentlemen: preparation for competition season!!

SMHS Matador Badminton! | Anjeanette Photography Senior Banners & Sport Portraits Phoenix

Loved meeting the Lady Matador Badminton team for Senior banners, Team and individual photos and buddy photos! Fun afternoon! The senior banners were a gift from Coach Weinke at Shadow Mountain for her three graduating ladies. I photographed the girls then designs a custom banners for each (plus a team banner of the seniors as my gift) The final banners arrived FAST from my printer- less than a week! I love the trade only professional banner producer I use, took a while to find just the right fit for quality, durability in the intense AZ weather, and fantastic color. Now the 36”x48” almost lifesize banners are celebrating the Class of 2021 in their home gym!

Of course, we got photos of the full Varsity and JV teams together plus lots of fun buddy photos and individual portraits!
